If you've never heard of Marshall Sparkman, it's probably because you're not a Veteran in Tennessee. Marshall is a mortgage loan officer, Veteran, educator, and serious content creator.

Marshall is the definition of Servant Leadership. Marshall shares his journey from the military to stumbling into the mortgage business in this interview. He quickly became known as the go-to guy for veterans due to his ability to speak their language and understand their unique needs.

As he started seeing credit issues and a lack of understanding about VA loans among other loan officers and processors, Marshall took it upon himself to become an expert in VA loans.

He printed out the guidelines and studied them thoroughly, wanting to be able to provide accurate information to anyone who called him with questions. He quickly realized that there was a need for education in this area. He began teaching military units about their VA benefits, financial literacy, and how to leverage the VA home loan to buy a house.

Fast forward 15 years and Marshall has co-authored a book with Ginger Bell, which contains all the content he created on VA loans back in 2012. His mission is to continue serving the veteran community by teaching them about real estate and how they can use the VA loan to build a real estate portfolio worth millions of dollars with zero money out of their pockets
