James and Justin dig through the quagmire of economic theory and philosophy to uncover how we ought to structure economies. We take a tour through the various economic theories, starting with capitalism and moving through communism and socialism. We discuss what they are, broadly speaking, and the relative merits of each. We then discuss specifics, like the stock market, globalism, and nationalism, and how these relate to the political and social circumstances in which these economies exist. We leave off on where we personally lie on these questions and an invitation for future topics on economic problems. While neither of us are experts, we hope you'll get something out of this as we try to break down these exceptionally complex ideas and as always, feel free to email us as sapientiaphilosophy@gmail.com for criticism, comments, or concerns.
