COVID-19 infection rates across South Africa are expected to surge over the next few weeks. This emerged during a briefing by the National Department of Health this morning. Scientists say the third wave infection rates have already surpassed those of the first and second waves. The Department has implemented a plan to increase vaccinations in the coming weeks.
