1. We can get to know what God is like by studying nature
2. The Universe is full of evidence it’s not the result of a random unguided process – but set up for life
3. Chance does not have the metaphysical resources to:
- cause life or
- cause our environment which is setup for life. For example:
- Oxygen is a safe, diatomic molecule
- We have just enough for life to exist
4. Our solar system is a perfectly situated habitat for us to do science on planet earth
5. The “coincidences” for life go on and on in nature – surely this requires some sort of explanation
6. Detectives discover the perpetrator indirectly using the evidence they can see
- Our senses allow us to observe the existence of the God thru nature
- Our view of God thru nature is indirect, like the Detective
