What is the Sandwich Generation? It is when a couple are taking care of both aging parents and children. They are "sandwiched" between the two responsibilities and must divide their time and resources between the two.
This can be a very stressful situation and the key is to have proper planning - both legal and financial - to be prepared for this situation.
