This week the Regular hosts plus semi-Regular Brian Mix head back into space. First they take a look at For All Mankind, the show almost no one is talking about on the Apple streaming service that almost no one remembers is a thing. For All Mankind explores an alternate timeline where interest in the space program dd not wane following the Apollo missions and the space race continued to be a flashpoint in the Cold War. Also, there’s a lot of personal baggage. Having built a Tricorder himself, as well actually laying hands on one of two original 1960’s era props, Brian is also the Regular Joes resident Tricorder expert. So this week they check in on the progress of the Wand company’s Star Trek original series Tricorder project. Long in the works, this prop replica completes the set with their previously produced Phaser and Communicator, and promises to be the most accurate replica, particularly in regards to size, released to date.
