Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
It's time for another Evercade Expeditions! This week I delve into a cart that was one of the first on my must-buy lists when I originally got into Evercade - Worms! I have been a fan of the Worms franchise since day 1. It has always had a home on my PC, as well as future instalments on my consoles. This 3-game collections has a couple memorable releases on it, classics from the series as well as 1 of the oddball experimental games that was a break from it's usual strategy roots. This was one of the earlier Evercade carts, and from the outset it seems like a bit of a downer that it only features 3 titles. If you know the Worms series though, you know that the 2 for entries they included are some of the best (sort of - listen in to hear what I mean). It was fun revisiting this one, and I think I am going to go play some more after posting this. Tune in to hear what surprise us fans got a couple years later with the discovery of a secret 4th title that can be unlocked!
