66. No opposition is no good for democracy
Manage episode 313748468 series 3262424
The two Tones discuss the Labour Party's annual conference in Brighton which started badly for Sir Kier Starmer, the Party's leader. The Party is deeply divided and it's far from providing a credible Opposition to the Tory government.
In a desperate bid to look like a real Opposition, and in what looks like an attempt at a power-grab, the deputy leader, Angela Rayner made a childish speech where she described Tories as "scum", further damaging the Party's already poor image.
Has all respect gone out of today's politics?
