Sarah Bowen and Merle van den Akker discuss their different approaches to learning and teaching behavioural science with Bruce Rigal. In this episode, we share our experiences in the classroom, and how insights from behavioural science can be applied to improve learning.
Bruce runs the Business and Law school at St. Mary's University in Twickenham, West London. On top of that, he also teaches courses in behavioural economics and research methods. And lastly, he did the MSc at the same time as co-host Merle, after moving away from a career in banking (COO at Deutsche Bank, London).
Bruce and Merle are in fact, close friends!
