On Episode 182 I sit down with David Portillo. Portillo is my friend that I met last summer at a Diesel Day Event at Tosh's ranch and someone I've had the pleasure of getting to know better since then. This guy loves to do hard shit but always manages to do it with a smile on his face. He's someone I look up to in that regard and we dive into that in more depth throughout this episode. Portillo is from the LA area and now lives in Texas. He joined the Marine Corps. in 2002 where he did 3 deployments. He got out in 2006 before being recalled for a 4th tour in Afghanistan in 2008. Portillo is now a medical technician. He enjoys working out, cold beer, and spending time with family. I think it's now clear why he and I have become good friends.
