Tim McAuley spent the better part of his youth and well into his 20s as a hedonistic pleasure seeker. In 2004 though, the party came to an end. At 28 years old, his liver was failing, and he was given an ultimatum: Quit or you’ll be dead by August. A few years later, on a wave off the coast of San Clemente, California he was reborn a 'soul surfer.' That wave brought him into focus and he got a glimpse of his own potential. He learned to get out of his own way and just flow. Soul Surfing is Tim’s metaphor. “The principles at play in your development as a surfer are easily applicable to every area of your life.” With that, Tim founded Soul Surfer School and has been sharing his brand of self-development since.
