DJ sets and mixes from DJ Gvozd — DJ, promoter, producer, author of d&b radioshow "Pirate Station", founding father of Respect Records. He is actively engaged in drum&bass music since 1997. Since March 2000 Gvozd is the author of "Pirate Station" radioshow on Radio Record. For today "Pirate Station" is the largest drum&bass radioshow of Russia acquainting listeners with all tendencies of modern music and classics of the genre. Numerous representatives of the scene from every corner of the globe became guests of the studio. Annually in St.-Petersburg and some other cities the festival Pirate Station of the improbable scope takes place. Such giants as Goldie, Fabio, LTJ Bukem and Mc Conrad, Roni Size, Hype, Pendulum, Adam F, Technical Itch, Aphrodite, Bad Company, High Contrast, Chase and Status, Noisia & etc became its participants. In 2004 GVOZD based with E:Beat music band TKB (Tru Kupchino Badman$), which was released on Respect and vinyl on Opposide Records. Opposide Records was created by GVOZD in 2007 together with Dissident. A base direction of activity of the label is releasing leftfield drum&bass and drumfunk music. In June 2009 Opposide Records presented the first vinyl release. Also year 2009 became the starting point for Respect Records vinyl epoch! Studying and loving all displays of drum&bass music GVOZD is very eclectic in the mix. In his sets at the most different in atmosphere parties it is possible to hear from an explosive mix of the brightest dancing hits to narrow conceptual selection concerning a sound.
