You’ve got gods in your life. Call on them. Will they respond?
We all chase after all kinds of worldly things. Those things have no power at all yet we just love to have them in our lives. Many people put their faith in the dollar yet that dollar isn’t worth anything and will do nothing at your death. Other countries actually make statues and idols. We usually don’t because we worship people and otherworldly things. The first three commandments ensure we don’t get wrapped up in the world.

Genesis 1; God said…..
From the beginning of time and before, God said. Nothing else has ever spoken, yet God spoke. God spoke to Adam. God spoke to Abraham. God spoke to Moses. God spoke to Noah. Over and over we read that God spoke to His people, some wouldn’t obey Him yet others would and God worked through them. God sent His son to be the ultimate sacrifice for everyone’s sins. God wasn’t quiet about His son. God spoke out to the shepherds. He spoke out in a booming voice when He declared He was well pleased in His son. God continues to speak to people today. He speaks out through His word, the Bible. It’s alive and powerful! God continues to call out men to preach His word through the foolishness of preaching.

You must know this God. He is the only one that can save you. He is the only one that can judge you. He is the only one that can destroy both flesh and soul. He is the only one that can cast one into Hell. You must know Him. He must be your salvation if you want to live. No other god can save you.
