Archer Aviation, azienda californiana, lancerà le sue operazioni commerciali ad Abu Dhabi entro la fine del 2025, segnando un passo importante per l’innovazione nei trasporti negli Emirati Arabi Uniti.
La compagnia offrirà trasferimenti urbani a partire da 300–350 AED, con rotte verso altri emirati, tra cui il percorso Abu Dhabi-Dubai, con prezzi tra 800 e 1.500 AED.
Gli aerei Midnight eVTOL, capaci di trasportare quattro passeggeri più il pilota, garantiranno viaggi rapidi e sostenibili.
Ad esempio, il viaggio da Abu Dhabi a Dubai durerà solo 20–30 minuti, rispetto all’ora necessaria in auto.
Grazie ai propulsori elettrici ridondanti, l’aereo offre una sicurezza senza precedenti. La sicurezza è la priorità assoluta di Archer, che sta completando le certificazioni per soddisfare le normative FAA e GCAA.
Anche altre compagnie, come Joby Aviation, stanno entrando nel mercato emiratino, con un lancio previsto a Dubai nel 2026.
