Augustin, Senior Practitioner at GlitzLaw, Saint Lucia, for a thought-provoking conversation about the importance of protecting your IP rights. As a special guest, Natalie talks about her latest article in the 2023 edition of Women's IP World Annual, titled 'Am I Worthy of Protection?'. Her insights into this issue are a must-listen for anyone looking to safeguard their intellectual property.
Natalie Glitzenhirn-Augustin is a UK-born, German and Caribbean-raised graduate of the University of Warwick (BA Hons. in International Studies with German) and the University of West London (Common Professional Examination in Law & Bar Finals), who founded the law firm Glitzenhirn Augustin & Co. (GLITZLAW) and its affiliated firm of Registered Agents Financial & Corporate Services Ltd. (FINCOS) in 2000 in Saint Lucia.
With more than 26 years of practice in the legal arena, Natalie is a Barrister admitted to the Inns of Court at Middle Temple in London and heads the corporate and commercial departments of GlitzLaw, a general civil law practice with an emphasis on intellectual property matters (trademark, industrial design & patent registrations), company incorporations and administrations, tax structuring, conveyancing and mergers and acquisitions. In tandem with this, she directs the affairs of FINCOS, a duly licensed entity in the St. Lucian international financial services arena, specialising in the establishment of international business companies (IBCs) as well as procuring and managing licenses for regulated entities such as international banks and insurance companies.
