Pastor Walter Moss, President of Right to Life Coalition Action, calls for members of the black community to come out and vote NO on Issue 1.
Pastor Moss joins OCA President Chris Long in calling the church to vote NO on Issue 1. Abortion has had a terrible effect in the black community. African Americans make up 12 percent of the U.S. population, yet the Department of Health statistics indicate 48 percent of Ohio abortions are in the black community. Pastors in the community are beginning to sound the alarm, urging their congregants to vote NO on Issue 1. Early and in-person voting started this week for the November 7th Election.
Part 2 Senator Mark Romanchuk sounds the alarm on Issue 2. If it is passed, legalizing recreational marijuana in Ohio, all Ohioans will suffer while a few get wealthy. The business community, the medical community, law enforcement, and the faith community have coalesced together to oppose Issue 2. Issue 2 legalizes an addiction-for-profit industry at the expense of our families and poses substantial risks to the public health and safety of all Ohioans, especially children and adolescents, given marijuana’s high potential for abuse. It increases the likelihood that users will endanger others by driving while under the influence. It heightens the risk of workplace injuries and employer liability. Vote NO on Issue 2. Let's not let Ohio go to pot.
