Infrastructure is often hailed as the key to our future economic success. While there is absolutely no doubt that it is critically important, are we giving enough consideration to the long-term costs of infrastructure projects in our communities? Are we targeting returns that provide actual dollars invested in our communities or tangible cost savings to stakeholders? Or are we targeting something else? We will cover all these items and more as they are discussed in Chapter 4 of the book, 'Strong Towns: A Bottom-Up Revolution to Rebuild American Prosperity' by Charles Marohn Jr. This is a follow-up to Episode 35, where we introduced the book and its concepts to our listeners.
