It’s amazing how much can change in the space of a year. It’s amazing how much you can learn in the space of a year too. Today marks the one year birthday of MusicSearch!

Present:

We have passed many milestones in the past 365 days, and this one-year birthday is our greatest yet. MusicSearch has been visited by 70,000 people from all across the globe in the past year and has been credited for breaking music news, gossip and announcements.

On a personal scale, writing, coding, designing and promoting for MusicSearch has taught me a lot. I have learnt a lot through experience and my knowledge in the industry of music has hugely expanded. My ‘taste’ in music has developed incredibly and all this is due to our website users and readers, music artists and also the staff of MusicSearch.

The website is run by a group of friends – all the same age group. This one year has been momentous for us, but the next couple of weeks will be very important as we sit several academic examinations. For this reason, there will be fewer music posts for the next couple of weeks. However, that we are entirely switched off, we will occasionally write posts. The MusicSearch MP3 Engine will stay as it is now, and I will continue to post the weekly ‘Top 20 Chart’.

Past:

Over past year, we have developed two versions of the MusicSearch MP3 Engine, and also two design for the MusicSearch Blog. Each of these new versions has bettered the previous.

Future:

In the following upcoming months, we hope to release Version 3.0 of the search engine, and do a major update to the blog too. But that’s not all – we have a few more surprises on the way which will be revealed soon.

A big congratulations to the MusicSearch team on a year of success, and a limitless thanks to our readers and users. We eagerly await the challenges and achievements ahead of us.
