In today’s episode, I talk about breaking out of dependent relationships - on a more serious note, if you’ve been in abusive or narcissistic relationships in the past, how can you break out of this cycle so you can be in a balanced, interdependent relationship instead?

There are 3 key areas I’ve noticed that can help you, and I’ve referenced a Netflix TV series called The Maid, about a young woman who leaves her emotionally abusive relationship with her boyfriend, takes her 3 year old daughter and tries to find a more stable life and independence, and how her parents and childhood experiences are now creating her future reality.

We may be onlookers onto someone else’s life and can clearly see what she SHOULD be doing, but when you’re trapped in that type of relationship, managing your own reality can be very difficult to break free out of
