We will be exploring Christ’s office as King. We’ll look at the Old Testament’s anticipation of the Messiah’s kingdom and the New Testament’s revelation of its arrival. By understanding the glorious insight that Christ has been seated high above at the right hand of God—ruling in heaven and on Earth—we’re encouraged to participate boldly in Christ’s mission of baptizing and discipling the nations with the full assurance that the gates of hell will not prevail against him and his Church.
