We welcomed Abstract Sounds to the studio at the end of the year, closing it off with one of the largest bands we've had on to date AND a genre we haven't touched yet - Jazz! Well, with Abstract Sounds, it's a bit of Jazz, R&B, Gospel, and Jam. In this interview, we hear about what its like to be such a versatile group, composing jazz versus writing songs, and Surviving Loveland: a docuseries in the making.
Abstract Sounds is bringing the dance element back to jazz music and just this past year started releasing their own tracks. Hailstorm and Ohio Nights are two singles that you can hear right now, and there are more on the way! We also have a moment for Bandcamp, the unsung hero for underground musicians.
