First, Kala discusses the Lincoln Funeral Train, a ghost train that follows the same track every year after the anniversary of the late President Abraham Lincoln’s death. Is the memory of such a well-known political figure enough to keep the echo of the train carrying his corpse traveling across the country every year around the anniversary of his death? Next Brittany tells us all about the Emily Morgan Hotel in San Antonio, TX where we learned some amazing facts including why remembering the Alamo is not all that important but remembering Emily Morgan is. She was a badass. And her badassery leads someone to name a hotel after her. A hotel with a ghostly bride, a burning-flesh-smelling basement, and elevators with a mind of their own. Just between us… we think there could have been a better way to honor her memory.
