About Marina: Marina Pires is a trilingual actress and singer-songwriter born in Brazil and raised in South Florida. She spent almost a year and a half touring with The Miami Sound Machine as a swing/understudy Gloria in “On Your Feet!” She was due to make her Broadway debut as Jasmine in Aladdin. And she still will. Eventually.
She was also on a badass musical improv team with Adrian when she first moved to the city and has been avoiding this interview ever since.
Here’s some other fun stuff she’s done: PHISH (Madison Square Garden), Vanessa “In The Heights” (Dallas Theatre Center), and Rapunzel “Into The Woods” (with Tituss Burgess).
