In 2013 I hit the streets - that means I starting street performing. Many people look down on busking (street performing) but for me it's one of the best professional decisions I ever made. There's a guy in Australia who has record labels begging to sign him but he sells so much music on the street and keeps all the profits, makes an incredible living and even tours - why would he give all that up for a label. I never got to that stage but both financially and the opportunity to practice and meet loads of people made it more than worthwhile.
