This walk takes about an hour and a half.
It is a circular route that takes you from the West Pier along the seafront towards the Palace Pier, through the Lanes, around the Pavilion Gardens, along the North Laine area and up to St Nicholas Church. It then takes you through Clifton conservation area and back down to the West Pier near the i360.
Although I have started at the West Pier, it is possible to start at any point on the route; just check the time on the podcast for each point of interest.
The content is suitable for any age group and focuses on history, architecture, murders, ghost stories, famous residents and nature.
If you enjoyed the walk or have any comments about how it could be improved, please add a review or you can make a donation using the link.
Thank you.

A self-guided walking tour of Cuckfield that includes interviews with local residents. The route starts at the car park in Broad Street and continues up the High Street, into the recreation ground and down to the bottom of the village through the churchyard. If you are walking the route and listening to the podcast at the same time, it would take around an hour and is on mainly paved areas with some slightly steep ground at the start. Information in the podcast came from local guide books and the internet and covers the architecture, industry and some of the more famous residents and visitors. Thanks to Andy Revell for proof reading the final draft and Kate Fleming, Annie Rees, Andy Leask, Gordon Ward and Jane Swain for allowing me to interview them. Support the show…

This interview was conducted in The Brighton Birdcage, where Wain discusses the concept behind his shop; the evolution of his Drag Persona, Kara Van Park; his career in the West End and what it's like to perform in front of 40,000 people. The interview also covers issues such as bullying, self-esteem and supporting others. Support the show…

A conversation with author, Daren Kay about his experience writing and publishing his first novel, 'The Brightonians'. The podcast covers some of the challenges faced for a new novelist and the inspiration behind the people and places in the book. It also looks at the representation of LGBTQ+ characters in fiction and some of Daren's favourite authors. Support the show…

This walk is similar to the first one I uploaded but explores some of the places that are slightly off the beaten track. It starts at the Clock Tower and continues down West Street, through Duke's Lane and Ship Street, around the town hall and through Quadrophenia Alley into East Street. It then cuts through Pool Valley and out into the Steine, finishing at the Royal Pavilion. Although the audio recording is shorter, it would probably take 45 minutes to walk and is quite flat. If you enjoyed the podcast, please leave a review, tell your friends or leave a donation at the link below. Support the show…
