Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 80:3
Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart. Psalm 97:11
DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 97
Tonight, allow yourself to relax and experience a deep peace that comes from God. Breathe in His power and love; breathe out your fears and worries. Lift your weaknesses to Him and open your eyes to the presence of the Lord around and within your being.
As you read this wonderful song of praise, take delight in His glory and lift your spirit to rejoice in His name. Know that the Lord reigns over all the earth as well as your life. There isn’t anything you are facing that He isn’t aware of. If you cast your burdens to Him, He will receive them and reassure you in His loving care. Feel His joy warm your heart and refresh your soul as no one or nothing else can.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: The Bible tells us that nature reveals the glory and the power of its Creator. The lightning flashes His brilliance and strength; the mountains display His majesty and power; the fire demonstrates His sovereignty as it consumes His enemies by day and guides His people by night. Know that the same power that sends bolts of lightning across the sky, that forms and moves mountains, and that sets the fire ablaze is the power protecting you and preserving you tonight.
CONFESSION: Think of something in your life you prioritize over God. It could be a person such as a spouse or a child; it could be a job or a hobby. Confess this wrongful prioritization to God and ask for His forgiveness. Ask for Him to help you prioritize spending time with Him above all else.
THANKSGIVING: Rejoice in the Lord. Thank Him for revealing His glory to you and shining His light upon you in the darkness of the night. Thank Him for the times when He has protected you. Thank Him for the times when He has delivered you.
SUPPLICATION: Father, I cast my cares on You tonight. Help any unbelief that lingers as I navigate living in a fallen world. Help me to remember that You reign, that You will protect me, that You will sustain me as I seek Your face and Your will for my life. May Your light guide my steps and keep me from temptation. Let Your favor rest on me tonight and into tomorrow as I dwell in Your peace. In Jesus' name. Amen.
PRAYER
“Turn us again, God. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.”
PSALM 80:3
Dear Lord, tonight I ask for restoration. Many events in the day seek to slowly strip away my joy. As the day draws to a close, I want to rejoice in the victories and ask for healing from the tragedies. Restore me, oh God, and shine on me in the night. Let me see Your face before I lay my head down to sleep. I want to see Your splendor and glory and be renewed for whatever tomorrow brings. Restore any parts of my soul that have wandered from You as I tuck myself into the night's peaceful refuge. Bring me to a place of peace, and forgive me for my sins. Restore me, oh God, and shine Your light. Heal me from wounds and burdens tonight. In Jesus’ Name Amen. 🙏🏾

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ephesians 4:22 “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts.” EPHESIANS 4:22 DEVOTION Based on Ephesians 4 Paul reminds us that following Jesus means putting off the “old man”—our former way of living, shaped by selfish desires and deception. This isn’t just about behavior change, but heart transformation. The old life may try to cling to us, but we’re called to shed it like a worn-out garment. God gives us a new identity in Christ, one marked by truth, purity, and purpose. This process is ongoing—day by day, decision by decision. Letting go of the old makes space for the new life God wants to build in us, one shaped by His Spirit and truth. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Father, You are the God of transformation. I praise You for giving me a new identity and calling me out of darkness. CONFESSION: Forgive me for the times I’ve returned to old habits or mindsets that no longer reflect who I am in You. I’ve clung to what You’ve already freed me from. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the power to change and the daily grace to walk in newness. Thank You for not leaving me in my brokenness. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to put off the old and embrace the new. Teach me to walk in step with the Spirit, to choose truth over lies, and obedience over comfort. Strengthen me to live in alignment with who You’ve made me to be. Let my life reflect Your redemption. PRAYER “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts.” EPHESIANS 4:22 Dear Lord Almighty, We come to You in prayer as we strive to grow into the people You have called us to be. Help us to let go of the former versions of ourselves that are steeped in sin and error, so that we may be transformed from within, according to Your will. Grant us peace of mind and a gentle spirit as we learn to embrace the new selves You are creating within us. May our hearts be filled with joy as we become vessels of Your grace and mercy. Let us, then, step out in faith and trust that You will equip us for whatever lies ahead. We give You thanks and praise, Lord God, for the transformation You are working in us. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Asking God for wisdom and knowledge. Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Isaiah 41:13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” ISAIAH 41:13 DEVOTION Based on Isaiah 41 God doesn’t just command us not to fear—He gives us Himself. This verse is deeply personal. The God of the universe promises to hold your hand and walk with you through whatever comes. His presence is constant, His help unfailing. He doesn’t stand at a distance—He stays close, steadying your heart and guiding your steps. When fear rises, you don’t have to face it alone. The One who holds your hand also holds all power. You are not abandoned. You are not forgotten. God is your help, and He will never let go. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Father, I praise You for being near and faithful. You are not distant—you are the God who holds my hand. CONFESSION: I confess my fear often takes over. I forget that You are with me and rely on my strength. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the gentle ways You comfort me. Thank You for walking with me through every storm and whispering, “Fear not.” SUPPLICATION: Lord, hold my hand today. Remind me that I’m not alone in any challenge. When fear rises, speak peace to my soul. Help me trust in Your presence and receive the help You so freely give. Let me move forward, not in fear, but in faith in You. PRAYER “For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” ISAIAH 41:13 Dear Heavenly Father, You are the great I AM. You hold us in Your hands and will never let go. We come to You today asking that you help us to lay down our burdens and relinquish control of our lives into Your capable hands. We humbly submit ourselves to You, for only You can lead us through the storms that life brings. You are our guide and protector, and we trust in Your guidance to lead us through dark times. Help us to let go and remember that You are ever with us as we take each step forward. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” PROVERBS 28:13 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 28 Trying to hide our sins only leads to more pain. We may fool others, but God sees everything—and He longs for us to come clean. Confession isn’t weakness; it’s the gateway to freedom. We receive mercy, not judgment, when we admit our wrongs and turn from them. God doesn’t shame us—He forgives, restores, and empowers us to walk forward in grace. The path to spiritual growth always begins with honesty. There is no healing without revealing. True prosperity of the soul comes through humble repentance. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are merciful and just. I praise You for welcoming honesty and offering grace to the repentant. CONFESSION: I confess the times I’ve hidden my sins—out of pride, fear, or shame. I’ve delayed the healing You wanted to give. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for not turning away from me. Thank You for the mercy that flows when I confess and turn from my sin. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me walk in truth. Give me the courage to confess my struggles and turn from them. Let my life be marked by freedom, not fear. Cleanse my heart and draw me into deeper fellowship with You. Help me live transparently and joyfully in Your mercy. PRAYER “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” PROVERBS 28:13 Dear Lord Jesus, You are the author of truth – the very Word of God! When I refuse to live honestly, harboring my sins in secret, I deny the work You want to do in my life. It is impossible to live a lie and honor You at the same time. Give me the courage to live transparently before You and others. Refine me as I confess my sins and shortcomings. Cause me to grow as I seek to live more honestly in this world. Help me to let go of any false image I’ve made for myself. I want to be the authentic, flawed, and loved version of myself that You’ve created me to be. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ephesians 4:31-32 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:31-32 DEVOTION Based on Ephesians 4 Bitterness, anger, and resentment are burdens that poison our hearts and relationships. God calls us to put them away—not to ignore them, but to release them. In their place, we are to put on kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. This isn’t always easy, but we’re not alone—God gives us the example and the power. As we remember how much we’ve been forgiven, we’re softened to extend that same grace to others. Healing begins when we let go of what weighs us down and embrace the character of Christ. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are full of mercy and grace. I worship You for forgiving me completely and continually. CONFESSION: Forgive me for holding onto bitterness and lashing out in anger. I confess I’ve struggled to forgive those who’ve hurt me. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the freedom that comes through forgiveness. Thank You for the gift of Your Spirit that enables me to love like You. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me release every root of bitterness. Teach me to be kind and tenderhearted, even when it’s hard. Remind me of how much I’ve been forgiven so I can extend that same grace. Let my words and actions reflect Your heart. PRAYER “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.” EPHESIANS 4:31-32 Dear Father, Help us to let go of the unhealthy habits and sins that have been holding us back. Grant us courage to repent of these wrongdoings and turn away from them. Give us a mind to think on things that are pure, lovely, noble, just and excellent. Inspire our hearts with love for You and others, enabling us to live a life full of grace. Teach us to put away all bitterness, anger, wrath and harsh words. Help us to instead show each other compassion and kindness so that we may be tenderhearted as You are. Guide our feet in Your ways so that we will follow in the steps of Jesus and live lives that honor You. We surrender ourselves to You and offer our lives as a living sacrifice. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. -John 8:32 DEVOTION Based on John 8 Truth isn’t just a concept—it’s a Person. Jesus is the Truth, and knowing Him frees us from shame, sin, and deception. This freedom isn’t just about escaping lies; it’s about living in the light of who God is and who we are in Him. We walk in clarity, confidence, and purpose when we anchor our lives in truth. The enemy wants to keep us bound by false narratives, but Jesus speaks life and identity into our hearts. The more we know His truth, the more we live free to love, forgive, and become who He created us to be. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Jesus, You are the way, the truth, and the life. I praise You for revealing the truth that leads to freedom and life. CONFESSION: I admit I’ve believed lies about myself, others, and You. Forgive me for letting deception hold me back. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the freedom You offer through truth. Thank You for breaking chains of guilt, fear, and false identity. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to know Your truth more deeply. Reveal the areas in my life where I still live bound. Replace every lie with Your Word. Let my life reflect the freedom You died to give me. Help me speak and live the truth with love and boldness. PRAYER “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” JOHN 8:32 Dear Heavenly Father, We come to You today asking for Your grace as we seek the truth that brings us freedom. Help us to discern what is holding us back and bring guidance in how to let go. Show us where our chains lie and give us the courage to break them, no matter how heavy they may be. Strengthen us to follow the path that leads to liberation, even when it is difficult or unfamiliar. We know that Your Word speaks freedom and truth into our lives, so we ask for Your help in living it out. Lead us in the ways of justice and mercy, so that all may find joy and release from bondage. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ecclesiastes 3:1 & 6 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away.” ECCLESIASTES 3:1 & 6 DEVOTION Based on Ecclesiastes 3 Life is made up of seasons—some joyful, some painful. This passage reminds us that God ordains the rhythm of our lives. There’s a time to gain and a time to let go. Sometimes, we cling too tightly to what God asks us to release. Trusting His timing means accepting that loss can lead to growth and letting go can open space for something new. When we walk with God, no season is wasted. Each one serves His purpose. Peace comes not from controlling time, but from trusting the One who holds all seasons in His hands. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: God, You are the Lord of every season. I praise You for Your perfect timing and wisdom in all things. CONFESSION: Forgive me for resisting change and trying to cling to what You’re asking me to release. I confess my fear of letting go. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for being with me in every season—the joyful ones and the hard ones. Thank You for using every moment to shape me. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me trust You through the changing seasons. Teach me to recognize when it’s time to hold on and when it’s time to release. Let my heart be anchored not in circumstances, but in You—the One who never changes. PRAYER “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away.” ECCLESIASTES 3:1 & 6 Dear Lord, You are neither anxious nor confused when things seem chaotic. You are steady, unchanging, and consistent. When seasons around me change, I know I can rely on Your unchanging nature to keep me steady. Give me wisdom on when to let go of things and hold onto things. Give me security in You, so I can take the changes of life in stride. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Romans 12:21 “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” ROMANS 12:21 DEVOTION Based on Romans 12 In a world filled with injustice and conflict, this verse offers a radically different response—don’t let evil win. Instead of matching hatred with hatred, overcome it with goodness. This isn’t weakness; it’s power under the control of the Spirit. When we respond to harm with love, we reflect God’s heart and interrupt cycles of bitterness. Evil loses when grace prevails. Goodness isn’t passive—it’s a spiritual weapon. As believers, we are called to shine light in darkness, not become like the darkness we resist. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are good in all Your ways. Your kindness breaks chains and Your love defeats hatred. CONFESSION: Forgive me for the times I’ve returned hurt with hurt or let anger shape my response. Cleanse my heart of revenge. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for giving me a better way to overcome through love, not retaliation. Thank You for the strength to choose good. SUPPLICATION: Father, empower me to respond to evil with Your goodness. When I’m wronged, remind me of Your mercy. Fill me with courage to bless those who oppose me and to reflect Your grace in every challenge. Let Your light overcome through me. PRAYER “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” ROMANS 12:21 Heavenly Father, You call us to forgive as You have forgiven us. We ask that You would give us Your strength and wisdom as we strive to overcome evil with good. As our enemy schemes against us, help us to realize that the power of kindness is far greater than any hatred or violence they may bring. Help us to extend our hands in peace and friendship, even when the world wants us to retaliate. As we persevere through these times, may Your love fill us with courage. Enable us to move forward with a spirit of grace, forgiveness, and understanding. May we be inspired by Your example as we seek to do good and show mercy instead of returning evil for evil. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 25:21-22 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 25 God calls us to respond to enemies with kindness, not vengeance. It’s countercultural—and deeply spiritual. Offering food and care to someone who’s wronged you turns conflict into an opportunity for redemption. The “coals of fire” are not punishment but conviction—our love exposes their hate and may lead them to repentance. It’s not about passive tolerance, but active compassion. When we respond to hate with love, God sees, honors, and works through it. We don’t fight fire with fire—we overcome with mercy. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You loved me while I was still Your enemy. Your kindness led me to repentance. I praise You for Your mercy. CONFESSION: I admit it’s hard to be kind to those who hurt me. My instinct is often to pull back or repay. Change my heart, Lord. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the times You’ve softened my enemies through grace. Thank You for rewarding obedience that costs something. SUPPLICATION: Father, teach me to love without condition. Show me how to serve even those who’ve wronged me. Use my response to open doors for healing and truth. Let me be an instrument of reconciliation, reflecting Your relentless mercy. PRAYER “If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee.” PROVERBS 25:21-22 Dear Heavenly Father, You are the source of all love and mercy. We thank You for granting us Your grace and help to forgive even those who have wronged us. By Your strength, may we overcome evil with good, kindness, and service. Help us to be humble in our actions towards those who hurt us and seek to do good in their lives. May we be generous with charity and bountiful in our offering of mercy, so that they may also taste Your grace and experience Your love. Let us be mindful of the power of forgiveness, Lord, grateful for the opportunities You have given us to serve others in Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Need prayers for my health and healing. Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 2 Samuel 12:7 Repentance leads to restoration. Today’s daily devotional is based on King David’s repentance, showing us the importance of sincerely asking for forgiveness and making things right when we make mistakes. STORY Bible in a Year: David Repents Scripture "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." - Psalm 51:10 Have you ever done something wrong and felt really bad about it later? What did you do next? In the Bible, King David made a big mistake. He did something very wrong with Bathsheba and tried to hide it by harming her husband, Uriah. When the prophet Nathan told David a story that showed him how bad his actions were, David realized he had done wrong. This was the start of David's changing his ways. Have you ever been caught doing something wrong? How did you feel when you realized your mistake? Nathan’s story helped David see his mistakes as if he was looking in a mirror. Feeling very sorry, David asked God to forgive him. This part of David’s life shows us how important it is to say sorry and mean it when we mess up. Another thing to think about: When you make a mistake, do you try to fix it by yourself, or do you ask for help to make things right? David wrote a prayer, Psalm 51, asking God to help him clean his heart and to be strong again. This teaches us that no mistake is too big to fix if we ask for forgiveness sincerely. Even though David faced a lot of trouble because of what he did, he made up with God and fixed their friendship. This shows that even when we mess up big time, there’s always a way to make things better. Later, Bathsheba had a son named Solomon, who grew up to be a wise king. Every day gives us a new chance to fix our mistakes. Remember, it’s never too late to ask for forgiveness and start over. How can you use your mistakes as lessons to do better next time? David’s story helps us see that even when things seem really bad, there’s hope and forgiveness if we just ask. REFLECTION Think about the things you’ve done wrong and how you handled them. Were you, like David, willing to admit and repent, or did you try to ignore your mistakes? Learning from David, we can see the importance of facing our wrongs and asking God to help us do better. This week, focus on being honest about your faults and seeking forgiveness from those you’ve hurt. Pray for the courage to admit your mistakes and for the strength to make better choices. PRAYER And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul; 2 SAMUEL 12:7 Lord, when I make mistakes in life I thank You that You will place people in my life like Nathan, that aren't afraid to tell me the truth even when it hurts. I thank You that through my mistake You constantly give me opportunities to repent and turn from my bad decisions. When these moments happen, give me the heart of David that quickly acknowledges my mistakes and desires only to honor and reconnect with You Lord. Even if it may cost me some things at first, because You are a merciful God, I can praise You because Your abundant mercy will cover my sins and establish Your presence once again over my life. Like David's new son, Solomon, I declare that I too will be able to give birth to the dreams and promises spoken over me. Thank You God that there is no sin or mistake that can separate me from Your Love. I come to You with a repentant and open heart! In Jesus’ Name, Amen. 🙏🏾 Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” JOHN 13:34-35 DEVOTION Based on John 13 Love is not optional for followers of Christ—it’s our defining mark. Jesus commands us to love others the same way He has loved us: unconditionally, sacrificially, and consistently. This kind of love goes beyond feelings; it’s a daily choice. It forgives, serves, and speaks life. It bridges division and shows the world who Jesus is. When love defines our communities, our witness becomes powerful. People won’t know us by our theology or talents alone—but by how we treat each other. Christlike love is how disciples shine. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Jesus, You are love in its purest form. I praise You for loving me perfectly, even when I fall short. CONFESSION: I confess I haven’t always loved others well. I’ve held onto offense, chosen distance, or placed conditions on love. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for loving me without limits. Thank You for showing me what real love looks like—patient, kind, and true. SUPPLICATION: Lord, let Your love mark my life. Teach me to love others with humility and joy. When it’s hard, remind me of Your sacrifice. Help my actions reflect Your grace. Let others see You in how I serve, forgive, and care. PRAYER “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” JOHN 13:34-35 Dear Lord, We come to You asking for Your grace to forgive those who have wronged us. Help us to be gracious and forgiving people, full of love and understanding towards others. We want people to recognize Jesus in us and remember that if He can forgive our sins, then why can't we forgive one another? You are the source of all peace and patience, Youhave called us to love others and turn away from our own desires. Give us the strength to be mindful of how we interact with others, as it is not our place to judge or demand repayment for wrongs done against us. Lead us in Your way of forgiving and loving others unconditionally. Let us not forget the example set by Jesus and to instead treat others with kindness and grace. Help us be humble in our speech and honorable in our actions, so that You may be seen in us. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.” HOSEA 10:12 DEVOTION Based on Hosea 10 This verse is a call to spiritual renewal. “Break up your fallow ground” means to soften hearts that have grown hard or indifferent. Just as farmers prepare the soil to receive seed, we must prepare our hearts to receive God’s Word. Righteous living—sowing in obedience—leads to a harvest of mercy. But first, we must seek the Lord wholeheartedly. He promises to respond with righteousness like rain, refreshing, life-giving, and abundant. Now is the time. Revival doesn’t wait; it begins in surrendered, expectant hearts. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are faithful to send rain when we seek You. I praise You for being the God who revives and restores hearts. CONFESSION: Forgive me for letting my heart grow hard or distracted. I’ve let routines replace genuine pursuit. Break up the cold, dry places within me. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for Your mercy that meets me as I turn back to You. Thank You for the promise that seeking You is never in vain. SUPPLICATION: Father, awaken me. Help me sow in righteousness through daily obedience and love. Prepare my heart for Your Spirit’s work. Rain down Your righteousness in my life, family, and community. Let a fresh season of growth begin in me. PRAYER “Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.” HOSEA 10:12 Dear Heavenly Father, I know that a person reaps what they sow. I know what I put into my faith I will receive back. I want to sow righteousness, obedience, and devotion to You. Yet sometimes, my heart is too distant, and my mind is too chaotic. Would You bring my heart close to You and reign in my wandering mind? I know my effectiveness as a Christian is dependent on my closeness to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Please pray for my family members to be saved. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Matthew 18:21-22 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” MATTHEW 18:21-22 DEVOTION Based on Matthew 18 Peter thought he was being generous by offering to forgive seven times. But Jesus radically expanded the standard: forgiveness must be limitless. We are called to forgive as God has forgiven us—freely, repeatedly, and completely. Holding onto offense only chains us to bitterness, but forgiveness releases both the offender and our own hearts. This doesn’t mean ignoring wrongs, but choosing mercy over revenge. Jesus isn’t asking for a number—He’s asking for a heart posture. Forgiveness is not weakness; powerful obedience reflects the Gospel itself. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are rich in mercy and quick to forgive. I worship You for offering complete and undeserved grace to all who come. CONFESSION: I admit I hold onto grudges and find it hard to forgive when hurt. Cleanse my heart of resentment and pride. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the countless times You’ve forgiven me. Thank You for showing me a better way of mercy, freedom, and peace. SUPPLICATION: Jesus, give me a heart that forgives freely and often. Help me remember that forgiveness isn’t excusing sin but entrusting justice to You. Teach me to release others from debt as You’ve released me. Fill me with compassion and the strength to love again. PRAYER “Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” MATTHEW 18:21-22 Dear Lord, There is no limit to Your love. There are no boundaries to Your mercy. Even though I was once Your enemy, You pursued me and forgave me. Even now, I find myself in awe of the forgiveness You give me. In light of Your unconditional love and unending forgiveness, I pray that You would help me forgive others. Expand the horizons of my mercy, and empower me with grace. May my heart grow larger with every moment I spend with You. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” JOHN 15:5 DEVOTION Based on John 15 Jesus clarifies that our strength, growth, and fruitfulness come from abiding in Him. A branch can’t survive apart from the vine, nor can we thrive spiritually without a daily connection to Christ. Abiding isn’t a one-time decision; it’s a lifestyle of dependence, intimacy, and trust. We bear fruit—love, peace, patience—not by striving, but by staying rooted in Him. When we disconnect through neglect or pride, we wither. But when we remain in His presence through prayer and obedience, His life flows through us. The secret to fruitfulness is staying close to the Source. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Jesus, You are the True Vine. God I worship You as the One who gives life, strength, and purpose to all who abide in You. CONFESSION: Forgive me for the times I’ve tried to live in my strength. I confess my independence often leads to spiritual dryness. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for being so near and faithful. Thank You for sustaining me and producing fruit in me that I could never grow on my own. SUPPLICATION: Lord, teach me to remain in You daily. Help me stay connected through prayer, Scripture, and obedience. Let Your Spirit flow through every area of my life so I may bear much fruit—fruit that glorifies You and blesses others. PRAYER “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” JOHN 15:5 Dear Lord, You are the source of all life and energy. You alone have the power to sustain us through all seasons of life. We are humbled to receive such support and guidance from You, Lord. May we always remember that Your Spirit is the source of our strength and the foundation of our faith. We, like branches, are dependent on the vine we draw life from – and that is You. We ask for more energy every day to serve You with all of our hearts, minds, and souls. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering...” COLOSSIANS 3:12 DEVOTION Based on Colossians 3 This verse calls us to intentionally “put on” the character of Christ. We are God’s chosen, holy, and loved—not because of our efforts but His grace. And because of that identity, we’re called to live differently. Mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience aren’t just ideals—they are spiritual garments we must choose daily. These traits don’t come naturally, but they do come through the Spirit. As we clothe ourselves in these virtues, we reflect Jesus to the world and build relationships that honor Him. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Father, You are merciful, kind, and full of patience. I worship You for covering me with grace I did not earn. CONFESSION: I often “wear” frustration, pride, or impatience. Forgive me for not reflecting Your heart in my daily interactions. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for choosing me, for loving me fully, and for inviting me to walk in Your character. Thank You for the Spirit who empowers transformation. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to put on mercy when I feel wronged, kindness when I feel rushed, humility when I want recognition, gentleness when I’m tested, and patience when things feel slow. Let every interaction reflect Your love. PRAYER “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering...” COLOSSIANS 3:12 Dear Lord Jesus, You were the ultimate example of meekness. When You walked on earth, You held power, but You used that power to build instead of destroy. We pray for the same humble Spirit among husbands and wives. As a couple, they hold power and influence over each other. May they use that power and influence to build one another up instead of tear them down. In Your name, we pray, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 12:4 “A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.” PROVERBS 12:4 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 12 This verse contrasts two kinds of influence a wife can have—one that uplifts and honors, and one that tears down. A virtuous woman, full of strength, wisdom, and character, is a crown—a visible symbol of blessing and honor. Her presence enriches and strengthens her home. But the opposite brings hidden pain and emotional decay. This isn’t about perfection, but about choosing daily to build up rather than break down. God calls women to be encouragers, wise builders of their homes, and sources of life through grace-filled words and actions. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are the giver of wisdom and dignity. I praise You for shaping a character that brings life and honor to those around us. CONFESSION: Forgive me for the times I’ve spoken harshly or acted carelessly, causing harm instead of building up. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the gift of virtuous influence—the ability to bless, uplift, and lead with quiet strength. SUPPLICATION: Father, form in me the heart of a virtuous woman. Teach me to speak life, to build my home with wisdom, and to walk in dignity. Let my life be a crown—not for pride, but to bring glory to You and blessing to others. PRAYER “A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.” PROVERBS 12:4 Dear Lord, Today we pray for partnerships to be cultivated like well-groomed gardens. May every marriage reflect the divine and beautiful partnership between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We pray specifically for the wives today, that they would place virtue and righteousness above any external quality, thus becoming the crown of their households. We pray against any lies of culture that would seek to draw their hearts away from the truth. Protect, provide, and guide these marriages, Lord Jesus. In Your name, we pray, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…
