Welcome to ITS FOOTBALL DAY, a podcast where two lads give their unfiltered opinions on the game of football.
The managerial merry-go-round is in full swing as Newcastle recruit a new manager whilst Villa and Norwich sack theirs. Some huge names are in the running for each position with Gerrard and Lampard looking set to take the jobs. Can Lampard keep Norwich up? Can Gerrard have success at Villa?
In the Premier League this week, Manchester is blue as City ease past United posing the question whether Ole is the right man for the job? Liverpool and Chelsea both drop points with West Ham earning a massive three points against Liverpool, pushing them up to 3rd spot. With their impressive league and European form, can we doubt them this season?
Finally, the final International break of the year is here with recalls for Bellingham and Phillips and a first call up for ESR, will we see him feature in these two fixtures? Can he set the international stage alight? We will see.
