Attacker wounds 20 children at Beijing school
Twenty children were wounded in an attack at an elementary school in Beijing Tuesday with three suffering serious injuries, local authorities said, as state-run media reported that the assailant used a hammer.
A male suspect was brought “under control” and the wounded pupils were admitted to hospital, the Xicheng district government said, without elaborating on how or why the man carried out the attack.
According to a tweet by state-run tabloid Global Times, the suspect used a hammer to carry out the assault.

Greek diplomats were issuing visas to unaccompanied children in order to facilitate illegal removal of their organs, “but the press did not write about them.” — Nikos Kotzias, Greece’s former Minister of Foreign Affairs, in an interview on November 20, 2018.

There are currently 3,050 unaccompanied children in Greece, and 1,272 of them (42%) are either homeless, or they live in a non-permanent residence or in an unknown location, according to the newspaper Kathimerini. They all face the risks of sexual exploitation and illicit organ removal.

Judge says Ghosn being detained due to flight risk and possibility he may conceal evidence
Nissan Motor Co Ltd’s ousted Chairman Carlos Ghosn declared he was innocent on Tuesday in his first public appearance since his arrest in November, telling a Tokyo court that he was wrongly accused of financial misconduct.

Nissan, which has ousted Ghosn from its board, has said a whistleblower investigation also uncovered personal use of company funds and other misconduct.

The case has rattled Nissan’s alliance with French automaker Renault SA, where Ghosn still remains chairman and chief executive. He had been pushing for a deeper tie-up between the pair, including potentially a full merger at the French government’s urging, despite strong reservations at Nissan.

NYPOST: 4 cops in ‘love rectangle’ stripped of guns so they wouldn’t kill each other

An NYPD sergeant cheated on his cop girlfriend with a fellow officer, whose husband is also on the job — and the bosses took away everyone’s guns so they wouldn’t kill each other, sources told The Post on Monday.

Sgt. Kandou Worley, 40, and Officer Stephanie Gallardo, 33, were both assigned to the department’s Strategic Response Group when they had their fling last year, according to an internal NYPD document.

But their secret was revealed when Worley’s live-in girlfriend, Tyeis Coppin, a union delegate in the 32nd Precinct, found incriminating photos on his cellphone.

Things have cooled down now as All four cops were given back their guns and returned to active duty in their original assignments during the past week, pending results of the SOD investigation, an NYPD spokesman said.
