In which I speak about the famous Lost Battalions. In WW1, an American battalion was lost in the Argonne and through the blockade (By the germans) they were finally saved. In WW2, another American battalion was encircled by the Germans in the Vosges, they too, broke out.

The picture is a monument to the Lost Battalion in the Argonne Forest, France.
