In this devotional, we compare main characters from the Old Testament who had the choice to wait on the God's promises to be fulfilled in their lives or to take matters into their own hands, along with the consequences of doing so. As we read in Psalm 27:14, we are encouraged to wait for the Lord and to be strong and courageous while we are in the waiting.
