Emily became a single parent to her now four year old son, Teddy, at the start of 2019 when her marriage unexpectedly came to an end.

We talk about the fact that life isn't perfect and she discusses her new blended family.

Emily started her blog six months into her single parenting as her own form of therapy and it has been wonderful to hear that it has also helped other people in the same boat.

Emily is also a author her first book was inspired by a trip to London, our first trip as a team of two, combined with frustration at the lack of single parent families featured in books for children, despite the fact that 25% of children in the UK grow up in one. She believes it is hugely important that our children see families just like theirs featured in books.
