While I am using my own words, I am filtering though AI to make something more. Because of this, I am trying not to edit this article too much. When I get into more of a rhythm, I will be using AI to create, but I will ultimately be editing to give it my own voice.

AI helps me sketch out my ideas, offering a foundation I can build upon. Take my YouTube videos, for instance. I can speak freely, capture the transcript, and let AI transform it into a polished script. But can you spot the AI-generated content?

To test this, I’m publishing my raw, unedited speech text alongside the AI-generated script. I’ll also compare it with another AI tool, Gemini, to highlight the differences. I expect these AI scripts to add a touch of humor and creativity.

Of course, not all videos need a script. Sometimes, spontaneity is key, like in live events or interviews. Finding the right balance between short and long content is crucial for YouTube. Some reports suggest that starting with shorts might frustrate subscribers if your channel is known for long-form content. I’ve experimented with both formats, using AI to generate shorts from longer videos.

Navigating Short-Form Content Challenges

Short-form content often gets lost in the endless scroll of social media feeds. Your video might just be a drop in the ocean of content. This experiment focuses on creating engaging long-form content with a few shorts sprinkled in. It’s about refining a raw idea into a compelling script and sharing it with you.
