Abortion! A Canadian issue.

When Prime Minister Justin Trudeau first became leader of the Federal Liberal Party candidates with personal pro-life views were banned from running under the Liberal banner - a first in Canadian political history.

During the last federal election campaign, the Liberals promised to revoke the charitable status of pregnancy care centres. This issue is now at the forefront for pregnancy care centres across the country.

Abortion has been legal in Canada up until birth for over 35 years since the 1988 Supreme Court ruling that struck down existing laws as unconstitutional.

Abortion is taxpayer-funded regardless of personal beliefs. Pregnancy care centres are largely supported by pro-life Canadians who believe in their mission.

Addressing the issue are Dr. Laura Lewis, executive director of Pregnancy Care

Canada, and Linda Baartse, executive director of the Pregnancy Care Centre in Toronto.
