Janette Luviano joins Charli this week for an insightful conversation about her journey through the field of media

Janette Luviano is a multilingual international journalist with over 25 years of experience in media, including radio, TV, and print.

For most of her career, she has worked in broadcast media, starting with Univision, then on Telemundo, and NBCUniversal, where her last job was as the News Director for the television station in Washington, DC. Janette was awarded 5 New York Emmy® and 13 Capital Emmy® from the National Academy of Television Arts & Science.

In 2023, she founded Luviano Consultant Media, a coaching and consulting firm, to share her knowledge with emerging and seasoned journalists. Her mission is to empower them with communication and critical thinking skills and help newsrooms achieve their goals through innovation focusing on DE&I, culture, and community.

With a degree in Child Psychology and a Master's Degree in Early Education, she has worked with children worldwide, especially in China and Mexico. She volunteers with different non-profits to provide educational opportunities, counseling, and support.
