Join Life Coach Janet Zipper and Renowned Hypnotherapist Gale Glassner ACH, as they interview Elizabeth Cohen, LMSW, CCTP, CASACT, Certified Hypnotherapist. She is a licensed social worker, in NYC, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who incorporates an expertise in hypnotherapy to assist clients in finding their inner power. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The New School University in 2012 and her Master of Social Work, LMSW, and CASAC-T from Long Island University in 2014. Elizabeth has been a Board Certified Hypnotist through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (I.A.C.T.) since 2003. She studied hypnotherapy with the highly acclaimed Paul Aurand, M.Ht, and Barbara Klink, M.Ht, at the Holistic Healing Center in Chestnut Ridge, NY. Elizabeth devoted numerous hours volunteering at Safe Horizon, an organization within the criminal court system that assists women challenged by domestic violence. Further, she was the Social Worker/ Clinical Director's Assistant at Faith Mission Crisis Center, in Jamaica, NY, helping clients battle addiction.
