近半年来，志愿到各个寺庙去当义工的中国年轻人明显增多。“在上学和上班之间”，一些其实原本没有强烈宗教信仰的年轻人，选择了“上山”，那是为什么？

不同寺庙有不同安排。有的让你当随喜义工, 只做一天。

有的则需要你当常住义工，可能得住在寺庙几个星期到几个月。

到寺庙上香拜佛的年轻人人数也暴增。有些寺庙收到的参访订单里，

二三十岁的年轻人就占了一半。

More young people are volunteering at temples in China. Some choose to volunteer their services for a day while others stay within the temple premises for weeks or even months.

The number of visitors and worshippers in their 20s and 30s at temples has also increased, constituting almost half of the total daily visitors.

Why are young Chinese drawn to temples? Is it an escape from reality or simply a weekend retreat for them?
