That's right PillowHeads, this week's episode is all about that spicy epic, the dense madness/lifestyle/experience that is DUNE! The DUNE that was, the DUNE that is, and the DUNE that could've been!!!
Join us as Matty helps Krys understand what the Hell is going on and answer Burning Questions like.. If spice is a drug, is everyone in space just high?? Who is that guy, and why is that guy, and what are those guys? What is going on now?? Would space suck less if we were all high?? Why isn't that opening scene Cronenberggy talking butt worm in the tube in the new movie? Are we all pronouncing Zendaya's name wrong? REALLY, WHAT IS GOING ON IN THESE MOVIES??
Your hosts discuss the current blockbuster sensations DUNE 1 & 2, as well as what's ahead for us in this franchise. They revisit David Lynch's 80's DUNE-semi disaster and find the good (STING! Lynchness!) the bad (like, most of it) and the ugly (looking at you Baron IckyFace!).
Later, Krys describes his favorite DUNE, the one that could've been, a madness filled, rock-n-roll/ sci-fi hallucination chronicled in the fascinating documentary, JODOROWSKY'S DUNE.
