127: Are You Afraid of Weight Gain?

We were terrified that by starting Intuitive Eating, we'd be signing up to gain a ton of weight. Like, A TON of weight! Because we'd spent most of our lives dieting, this was a deeply rooted fear that honestly kind of surprised us! In this episode we share our personal experiences with you, because fearing weight gain can convince you to stay trapped in the never-ending dieting loop - and we don't want that for you!
Our mission is to help you get to the point where food isn't controlling you and keeping you stuck. This fear simply has to go if you want to heal your relationship with food.
While we can't tell you how long it will take for you to truly work through this fear personally, knowing the facts about how dieting actually CAUSES weight gain and learning the benefits of eating more food will help you take the first step toward processing your fear of gaining weight.
