Welcome to our first episode of the new year! We're back (that's us, Dave B and Dave D) with a whole raft of craft beer goodies for you.
We chew the fat with Dan Wright from Hideaway Brewing Company, one of six breweries in Salford, and he tells us 'it's all about people' as we discuss the realities of the beer industry at a time when breweries are closing on what seems a daily basis.
Just because it's January doesn't mean we're not drinking - far from it. We're embracing Tryanuary rather than Dryanuary, and that means we're turning our attention to DMC Brewery in Leeds and Old Tree Brewery in Sussex to try some alcoholic ginger beer and some Kombucha - plus an idea of where to go if you want to expand your craft beer horizons with a city break.
The Brewer's Wife - aka Sam from Copper Beech Brewing Company - is here to reflect on the last 12 months of life at the sharp end, highlighting the importance of stopping to appreciate what has been achieved and revealing her favourite moments from 2024.
