I know as an employee a lot of us face the fear of being on a PIP or even the thought of having a manager handle behavior a specific way.
Like we need more of the anxiety, it's been rough going through so much within the world that the experience of facing something like this can just cause more to us.
Also as a manager, there is a misconception regarding performance reviews.
It's given a bad name and used in a negative way.
It's important to understand and create awareness about the importance of performance reviews and how it can shape and benefit employees.
This should be a positive experience for an employee to make them aware of what needs to be adjusted so they can work together with you and grow.
