Sticking with juice, they and chat about the influence of local authorities, reintroducing bison to Kent, baking, amongst other things! Gemma is based in Kent, but works at the University of Reading. She has always loved wildlife and chose to study Zoology as an undergraduate and then went to work at a conservation charity called the Big Cat Sanctuary, initially as a zoo keeper and then lead on education and sustainability at the Sanctuary. This sparked Gemma interest in sustainability, and lead to me studying for an MSc in Sustainable Development at the University of Surrey. After completing my studies she worked as a Climate Change Engagement Officer for a local authority before moving to my current role.
