The Ideal Network Founder Darlene Sartore talks about Hospice and Pallative Care Urantia Paper 39 Section 9 Paragraph 3 in The Truth Book page 442

Darlene Sartore and Peter Mingils have host this Ideal Network Radio show on Building Fortunes Radio. This is just after Darlene's Birthday on October 5th.
Darlene has been busy with the Chaplain's course and finishing up 2025.

On this episode, Darlene talks about what she learns about Hospice and Pallative care. Palliative care is specialized medical care for people living with a serious illness. The main focus is on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of the illness to improve the quality of life for both the patient and their family.

Key aspects of palliative care include:

  • Holistic Approach: It addresses suffering that can be physical, psychological, social, or spiritual.
  • Timing: It is appropriate at any age and at any stage in a serious illness and can be provided along with curative treatment, unlike hospice care which is typically reserved for the final stages of life.
  • Team-Based: Care is often provided by a specially-trained, interdisciplinary team that may include doctors, nurses, social workers, and chaplains, working together with a patient's other doctors.
  • Goal: To help the patient manage symptoms like pain, fatigue, nausea, and anxiety, and help them gain the strength to carry on with daily life.

The goal is to relieve suffering and ensure that the patient's treatment choices align with their personal goals and values, as explained by the Center to Advance Palliative Care.

Peter Mingils has put together the Memories Project on https://memories.news

This is a very personal project for some and a simple way to keep others informed for Memories.
