Funny enough we had been connected online and both were at an event in Wilmington, NC of all places. But he left a day early, and I showed up a day late so we literally just missed each other.
After that event though, we grabbed lunch and started talking about life and business. We have a lot of similar philosophies and mindset around this stuff, so we clicked right away.
