Shivek Narang, the founder of OurTeenBrains, joins us for a discussion on the importance of empowering teenagers with knowledge on the inner-workings of their brains. His organization aims to teach teens and parents how to better approach and care for their mental health during their adolescence. We also touch upon the current events of police brutality and the Black Lives Matter movement, and how these events are impacting the mental health of African American teens.
