Good evening everyone! Welcome to the Post-Game Podcast with Patrick Smith.
It’s all over at the San Siro after Liverpool beat AC Milan 2-1 and became the first ever English side to win all 6 of their champions league group stage matches, yet another record for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season.
Mohamed Salah notched his 20th goal of the season already, just a week into December, as he becomes the first Liverpool player since Ian rush to score 20 goals in 5 consecutive seasons.
Divock Origi was also on the scoresheet once again, and is hitting form at just the right time, as the Reds prepare for a tricky December, not to mention the imminent departure of Mane and Salah to AFCON.
Liverpool enter Monday’s draw for the round of 16, which takes place at 11am on Monday 13thso take a note of that before we find out Liverpool’s opponents.
