In this episode, we had the opportunity to have a conversation with Allen Ling, American artiste of Chinese origin based in California, is a singer-songwriter, music-producer, entrepreneur, and comic book publisher. Allen Ling release the trilogy started with "Straight to the Ocean" in June 2023, where the story revolves around a broken heart and healing. The visuals, marked by a cohesive style, unfold a metaphorical emotional journey, continuing with "A Name in Your Book" in July 2023, leading to the final song, "Remember" ft Dave Lopez. The collaboration with Dave Lopez, the lead guitarist and producer of the rock band Flipsyde, in 2016 drove him to pursue the trilogy of tracks. The lyrics of Allen Ling’s recently released track ‘Remember’ align with the emotional depth of his earlier two songs regarding pathos and melancholy. ‘Straight Into Ocean’, ‘A Name in Your Book’, and now ‘Remember’, are part of a trilogy that is inspired by Allen’s personal life.
