We’re joined on the Starline by a Northwestern University Offensive Tackle from Skokie, Illinois who worked security for Queen on tour. One night Freddie Mercury asked him to play Superman. His response was “That’s been done. How about Darth Vader?” And he never looked back. This weekend only is Queen: Rock Montreal playing on IMAX. We welcome Walt Versen.
Walt, let’s go Beyond the Mic. You encouraged Freddie’s theatrics. How did that day nearly 30 years ago change your life?
