ONE INTRODUCTION Thank God for this house, New Beginnings. Its week One of 2025. Often time of mixed emotions too. And traditionally it’s a time to reflect to set new plans in place, set some new priorities, new rhythms for life and especially for our own Jesus walk. Busy lives/ demands/challenges So, on week ONE of this new year, I began to reflect and pray over some of the ONE priorities or principles that we find in the word. As I believe God is reminding us of some key priorities as we gather together in week ONE of 2025. Of course, taking stock and review what’s important is a very healthy activity to do, particularly in the context of our every changing world and culture. Let’s face it the world around us is changing at a fast pace , and there are all kinds of challenges on the world stage and challenges locally and personally Attitudes change, we are living in the middle of a cultural shift. Society is more individualistic and attitudes to faith, to God, to Church. We are now living our lives and representing Jesus in a post Christian society, especially in the West! We are getting the sense that Christian faith and values are marginalised, there is a sense of intolerance. This doesn’t mean we hide in the shadows , but rather we dig in and be the Jesus follower that shines bright in such a time as this! If you are like me, its difficult to know where to start! As we walk together in week one I believe the lord has given us a clue on how to move forward together, as we explore ONE things we can do to shine bright for Jesus. SO WHAT ARE THESE ONE THINGS? We kick off with PSALM 27: 4 (David running from Saul or Absolum David had seen it all and in may ways done it all) David writes ‘One thing I have asked of the Lord, that I will seek after, that I may Dwell in the house of the Lord ALL the days of my life, and gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to enquire in his temple. ONE - DWELL The Holy Spirit is setting out our assignment or priorities for 2025. And top of the list is putting God first. OF COURSE THE HOUSE OF THE LORD IS A PHYSICAL PLACE WHERE WE FIND THE PRESENCE OF GOD BUT PAUL REMINDS US IN I CORINTHIANS 6:19 THAT OUR BODY IS A TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO LIVES IN YOU AND WHO WAS GIVEN TO YOU BY GOD WE were created for relationship. Back in Genesis God created Mankind for relationship. So in Week One of 2025 Father God is reminding you that he Loves you, and that he is for you and not against you. He sings and dances over you. You are His delight, You are precious beyond measure! One thing I desire is that I might know you , that I have a heart to love God and seek after him, to seek him and allow Him to take us to new places. Church this is a MATTER OF THE HEART = OUR DESIRE. Matters of the Heart are really important WHEN OUR HEART IS RIGHT – EVERYTHING ELSE FALLS INTO PLACE – THAT’S HOW IT WORKS When our heart is firmly directed to the living God that brings us to a place of JOY and it’s a place to savour, it’s a place or position that we long for the presence of Father God. WE HAVE TO BE HONEST – THIS COMES AT A COST – SURRENDER That we adopt a posture of surrender and develop a heart that’s open and receptive to the heart of God. Church, as Jesus followers we have such a joy and privilege to know Father God . This is something we have been talking about together for a while now! We have to remind ourselves that we are loved by God. Full stop. There is nothing on earth that’s betting that dwelling in the presence of God, sitting at his feet and allowing God’s amazing love to cover you. You are not Alone, I DON’T KNOW WHAT YOUR RELATIONSHIPS WITH FRIENDS/FAMILY LOOKS LIKE. YOU MAYBE THE TYPE FOR WHATEVER REASON TO PUSH PEOPLE AWAY BUT ON WEEK ONE OF 2025 ALLOW FATHER GOD TO LOVE YOU We are in relationship with THE LIVING, LOVING GOD a Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Sprit Father – the origin or creation and redemption who communicates his divinity to the Son and the Holy Spirit Son – The mediator, who accomplishes the fathers plan and saves humanity from sin Holy Spirit – The bond of love between the father and son, who applies the fathers plans to believers Remember that in Christ we have Intimacy – Dwelling with the Lord gives us the joy of listening to the father’s voice, hear his heart for you and his will for your life Trust – Dwelling with the Lord means trusting in God’s live, power and wisdom to protect you and give you everything you need Peace – Dwelling with the Lord can bring a sense of peace, even in the challenging times of life Guidance – Dwelling with the Lord gives clarity and a sense of guidance Trust – Dwelling with the Lord gives us a sense that we live, move and breath, we are held firmly in the strong arms of our heavenly father Hope – as we step into 2025 we need a strong dose of hope Church we are loved – Father God is again, call to Allow God to love us, to take those small steps towards our heavenly Father. To sit at his feet in the good times and the not so good times! John 16:33 – reminds us that God has given his children, help, rest and peace. Even in the storms of life 1 Corinthians 6:19 - Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God. You are not your own, you were bought with a price, so Glorify God with your body ONE CHURCH 1 Corinthians 12:13 – Christ has only one body THE CHURCH, HIS ONE BRIDE, HIS ONE HOUSE, HIS ONE FAMILY Ephesians 4:4 – There is only ONE body and ONE spirit 1 Timothy 3:15 – There is only ONE house of God Philippians 2.2 – complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being of full accord and of ONE mind! The church – This church is God’s idea The Lord has placed us together as a family, we are called to gather as sons and daughters of the living God FOR A REASON We are ONE church – blood bought, sanctified, anointed set apart to get the job done. The Church is a vibrant, organic living organism of imperfect, redeemed people From God’s perspective there is only ONE church and we at Bethel and Aberafan are LOCAL EXPRESSIONS of His ONE Church. EKKLESIA IS GREEK WORD FOR CHURCH IN NEW TESTAMENT WHICH MEANS THOSE WHO ARE CALLED OUT Ed Sil Voso in His Book Ecclesia reminds us that - The Church is God’s instrument for global transformation. He describes The Church is ‘people movement’’ That really excites me because it takes our attention away from structures, as important as they are! Let’s cherish our times together as a family. As we gather together its our chance to bring our dwelling experiences that we enjoy on a personal level to a corporate setting. We all have something to contribute, we have acts of service, but we also have spiritual gifts, we have our time, our financial resources and more than anything else we have OUR STORY. OUR STORY - OPEN MIKE Never underestimate what God has done, or is doing in your life. Even the small things! My Prayer My prayer for this house is that in greater measure that when we gather together, at every setting we will come with expectant hearts and minds, come with a heart to worship, heart to pray heart to serve, heart to love, heat to exercise spiritual gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit. My prayer is that collectively we move from a place of collective consumption , to a place of individual sharing, praying , prophesying, believing God for the impossible, as we believe God to see signs and wonders But, more than anything else be a gather where the banner over us is LOVE, love to be, love to share, love to show. RECAP WE ARE A PEOPLE MOVEMENT WHO ARE IN LOVE WITH JESUS AND ENJOY INTIMACY WITH THE LIVING GOD AND ANOINTED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT’S PRETTY SPECIAL IN ANY MAN’S BOOK. WE ARE NOT CALLED TO LIVE IN SOME KIND OF HOLY HUDDLE A HAPPY SPIRITUAL BUBBLE, BUT WE ARE ALL CALLED TO GO – WE HAVE TO… WE HAVE TO LIVE OUR LIFE ONE MISSION Go into all the world. To make Jesus Known, to be the hands, eyes, feet of Jesus. We are the carriers of life and Hope, we are the carriers of the word the fire of God, the amazing love. God is not willing that any should perish but all have life in Jesus Christ Micah 6.8 MSG He has already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It’s quite simple, do what is fair and just to your neighbour be compassionate and loyal in your love, and don’t take yourself too seriously’ THE GREAT COMMISSION – NO SURPRISE ITS RECORDED IN ALL FOUR GOSPELS Mark 16:15 MSG Jesus speaking to the 11 said Go into the world (your world). Go everywhere and announce the message of God’s good news to one and all We are the messengers, we are the light carriers, the beacons of hope, WE ARE LIVING IN TURBULANT TIMES AND THE NEED TO RESPOND TO GO IS AS URGENT AS EVER. ONE LIFE In the book of Genesis, In week ONE – God created man and woman and said it was good God Created YOU – for this ONE life, you are not a mistak e. Your arrival on this planet was on point! In this ONE life we have met thousands of people in a life time. It could be as many as 80,000. But ONE day we met ONE person – Jesus Christ the Son of the living God. Suddenly in ONE moment our ONE life changed forever . In fact it changed for eternity So, here we are in the middle of week ONE of 2025 God by his Holy Spirit is wrapping his very strong arms around you and is saying what one thing are we going to do together. What one thing that will take us closer deeper. What ONE thing can we do to make this One life count What ONE thing can I do that will help me to be Jesus in my family, in my workplace, in my street, What ONE thing can I do to help someone come to a personal faith in Jesus Christ What ONE thing will put a smile on the face of our ONE Lord During our ONE life I am sure of ONE thing there are ‘negative voices’ going through your head Those voices come to seek and steal all what God has invested and is doing in your life Stopping you from fulfilling God’s purpose for your life and mine The battling that we are all in has been won. WON 1 John 3:8 – The reason why the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the evil one, the devil As the Ekklesia Church of God, our spiritual warfare is not against flesh and blood , but against spiritual beings in high places. THIS MORNING I AM EXCITED ABOUT WHAT THE LORD HAS IN STORE FOR YOU. CHURCH we are standing in the victory of the cross. The lord has already fought the battle and the victory has already been won As a church we stand to maintain Christ’s victory, we guard it, we maintain it We trust in the Lord, we stand in victory, we don’t hope to win, we have won. We stand in it and we proclaim it WRAP Time to come to some conclusion around our Journey around some ‘ ONESEES’. SO ON WEEK ONE OF 2025 I BELIEVE THE LORD WANTS TO SET SOME PRIORITIES IN YOUR LIFE ANE MINE THAT WILL NOT ONLY TAKE US CLOSER IN OUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS BUT IT WILL TAKE US OUT OF THESE FOUR WALLS ON A MISSION TO SHARE JESUS. BUT TO STEP INTO THE NEW WE MAY HAVE TO SHAKE OFF SOME OF THE OLD SHAKE THINGS OFF! I HAVE BEEN CHALLENGED ABOUT THIS UNBLIEF, DISSAPPOINTMENTS, CONDEMNATION, A WHOLE ARRAY OF NEGATIVE VOICES…

Restoration – God’s Plan For You Key Text: 1 Kings 19:1-18 Is it possible to serve God full on, see personal revival and be healthy? God has a deeper and greater plan for our wellbeing. When there is the presence of God’s kingdom, there is going to be an increase in ‘ Shalom ’ or wellbeing in every area of our lives. ‘ Shalom ’ means? – Peace & wholesomeness. Judges 6:24 Gideon built an alter in Ophrah and named it ‘ Ye-hova Shalom’ -‘ Yahweh our peace ’ Literally means: ‘ to destroy the authority attached to chaos ’ Wellbeing wasn’t man’s idea it was God’s and we need to build in patterns or rhythms of replenishment for our wellbeing. Elijah was physically exhausted, emotionally depleted, spiritually intimidated, relationally isolated. Developing a Wellbeing Mindset The whole issue of mindset matters. The key to most issues that we face is due to our mindset or perspective. Usually we are focused on an ungodly lie. But by changing our perspective and focusing on a Bible based truth we can overcome the issue. Know who you are. Know where you’re at.Know that you can change. Some people say ‘ I am nowhere’ well we can put a break in it and at the same time change our perspective. Instead of saying I am ‘ Nowhere ’ You can say ‘I am Now Here’ ‘Elijah’ Eli-yah means ‘ The Lord is My God ’ – personal relationship. Keep topping up and find out what replenishes you. Physical Strength In spiritual terms the spirit is most important but in terms of replenishment terms, God starts from the outside. 1 Kings 19:5b-8 Sleep matters, The right amount of the right kind of food. Don’t worship diet, just be wise. God is the author of the physical body. Exercise - people like Elijah walked everywhere. Paul said 1 Timothy 4:8 that physical exercise/training is of some benefit. Emotional Health In 1 Kings 17 God feeds Elijah by Ravens Sabbath - Means to stop/ rest. 24 hours every week without failure switch off. Jewish people would prepare for sabbath. Spiritual God calls Elijah to go on a 40-day journey to mount Horeb. 1 Kings 19:8 N.T. we do not have to go to a special mountain because we have the Spirit of God living in us. But we still need to have times that we set apart times away from people but toward God. Silence and solitude. Learn what drawing away looks like daily, weekly or seasonally. Presence of God satisfies like never before. Spiritual vitality. Relationships - Connectivity Elijah has done ministry but in his worst moment he dismissed his servant. 1 Kings 19:10,14 Intentional solitude is good but isolation is bad. God sent Elisha so that Elijah did not have to do ministry alone. Even Jesus in His time of despair in the garden did not want to be alone but called His close disciples to Himself. Vocational Fruitfulness Don’t make a decision to pack it all in on a Sunday afternoon. 1 Kings 19:15 Elijah you thought you were done/ finished but you are not. I called you there and I am still calling you to that. God is more than able to take care of our ministry future, so don’t waste time worrying about it. Rather than thinking ‘ I am nowhere’ , put a pause in and say ‘ I am now here .’ We can only deal with the moment. Conclusion The more we develop our relationship with our Father through the Spirit, the more we experience the positive ‘fruit’ of His presence in our lives: ‘love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, [and] self-control’…

Given…For To Us… Key Text: Isaiah 9:2-7 No matter what you thoughts are about self, whether that is high or low, God wants to be in relationship with you. Isaiah 9 :6 a For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, 1.For a gift to do you any good, it has to be unwrapped and received. 2.A gift does not start with the one who gets it but in the mind and heart of the one who wants to give it. Someone who sees a need or wants to bless the other person and thinks they would enjoy it. These two things are key aspects of the Christmas season: God saw that we needed something, even when we did not see it ourselves. Christmas has many wonderful messages but at the very core of it, there is a Someone, God’s personal gift to be personally received by us. It’s a Personal Gift. How do you choose a gift? Some people are harder to buy for than others , we think about the person and try to think what they would need or like. Notice something about the verse in Isaiah – you are the focus, you are the recipient… ‘For unto US a child is born … a Son is given … 1.God chose to give Jesus, so that you could be personally chosen by Him . Galatians 4:4-7 says: But when the fullness of time had come , God sent forth His Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son and if a son, then an heir through God. God got the timing right – it had fully come. God got the gift right, it was perfect – God sent his Son. God got the wrapping or means right, born of a woman – so He could be one of us. God got the conditions right – born under the Jewish law so that Jesus could obey perfectly, with no unfair advantage. God got the recipients right- so that we might receive . God got the result or effect right – He adopted and redeemed us. God got the ongoing help right – He sent His Holy Spirit into our hearts. God got the ongoing relationship right – We cry ‘ abba ’ Father. Who would have thought that one gift would have such a large profound effect upon us? God really wants to choose you Ezekiel 34:11-12 “For thus says the Lord God: Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep and will seek them out. 12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness. God gave Jesus as a person, a child, with all the weaknesses of a child, so that we know that He understands us as a person with all our weaknesses. Think about it for a moment… for to us a CHILD is born – on the one hand there is nothing more precious than a child to give – God was not holding back. On the other hand, the idea of God with all His power and wisdom being limited, constrained within a child is one of the most mysterious things about Christianity – God says ‘let me limit myself and become a baby …for you! ’ It is a bit of a mystery that is hard to understand but here is the bottom line. God limits Himself so that you and I can know with certainty that He really understands what it is like to be you and the person you are. Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathise with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. But here is the other thing – despite what you might think are your weaknesses, God can still use you. Sometimes we have weakness and limitations so that we learn to trust God. Perhaps you have something today that you wish was not true about you or you wish was not happening – You have some limitations to embrace – Jesus limited Himself so that He can prove to you, that He can help you in your limitations. Christmas is a time for you to receive…personally. For to Us… Understand that Christ was given to you personally. There is no one like you that’s why God made you! Despite what you may know or think you know about you – God continually chooses you. Question: Could you place your limits and strengths in God’s hands? You will see how He will use you. God speaks value over you because He did not hold back His most valuable gift, so that He could win His most valuable creation back- that creation is you. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, He came in weakness so that any weakness you have will not stop you knowing Him. He came personally so that you can know Him personally Your limits are His opportunity to work through you. So whatever you feel give them to Him.…

Key Text: John 1:1-13 How can you know for sure that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God? An old hymn put it, “You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart.” Fine but that’s really subjective. A Buddhist might say that Buddha lives within his heart. How can you verify such a thing? A critic might say that Jesus is just a legend or myth. Or, maybe the apostles embellished the stories about Him so that what we read is far from the actual truth. Perhaps He was just a great religious teacher who was tragically murdered because of jealous men who felt threatened by Him. If you’ve ever sat on a jury or watched a courtroom drama or followed a trial on the news, you know that having multiple witnesses of reputable character who all say the same thing independently of one another is vital to prove a case. Those who are called on to bear witness in court must swear to tell the truth or be liable for perjury. A true witness is not free to make up their own story; they must report the facts as they witnessed them. If the witnesses are credible people who give consistent witness, the case is pretty secure. But, how do we know that these claims are true? What evidence backs them up? Would they hold up in court? In answer to these questions and in deference to Jewish law, which required at least two or three witnesses to establish any legal matter, Jesus gives a number of witnesses to verify His claims. ‘ Testimony ’ or ‘ witness ’ was an important concept to John. In the ‘ Bible knowledge commentary’ the writer states: We don’t need to take a blind leap of faith. God has provided adequate testimony that Jesus is the truth. John repeatedly emphasises ‘t ruth ’ in this gospel. Truth is characteristic of God and it is only as we know God that we know truth. Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples , which are not written in this book but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:30-3 1 God sent John the Baptist in fulfilment of His promise to bear witness to Jesus. Isaiah 40:3 A voice cries “In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Malachi 3:1 Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. And the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, he is coming, says the Lord of hosts. John was not Jesus’ “key witness” in that he was human. Jesus’ main witness was the Father. But Jesus mentions John because for a while the Jews were flocking out to hear him and Jesus wants them to be saved. If they would have believed John’s testimony that Jesus was the Lamb of God, sent to take away the sins of the world 1:29 , they would have been saved. John was a lamp, not the light but he bore witness to the Light. The Jewish leaders were interested in John when he was popular but they never took his message to heart. They were like a bunch of moths who hovered near the lamp while it was burning but flitted back into the darkness after it was extinguished. They should have followed the One to whom John was pointing. The sign is not the destination but points us to somewhere, someone else. Don’t miss the opportunity to be saved when God is speaking His truth to you through His messenger. Today is the day of salvation. The testimony of Jesus by those who witnessed Him varies, but it seems that the closer one got to Jesus, the more convinced they became. - that has not changed. The early disciples, Andrew declared Him to be the Messiah. Philip said He was the One of whom Moses and the prophets wrote. Nathanael confessed Him to be the Son of God, King of Israel Martha believed Jesus to be the Christ the Son of God Peter believed Jesus to have the words of eternal life and declared Him as the anointed One the son of the living God The disciples at the last supper believed that He knew all things and believed that He came from God Thomas though sceptical of the other apostles' testimony was convinced by tangible evidence that Jesus was Lord and God. Testimony of The Masses Nicodemus an official of the Sanhedrin council confessed Jesus to be a teacher from God. The Samaritan woman at the well confessed Him to be a prophet. The villagers that came were convinced that He was the Christ, the saviour of the world. The man born blind John 9:17 , 25 ‘ He is a prophet’ ‘One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.’ Pilate Roman governor who interrogated Jesus stated three times: ‘I find no fault in Him.’ In seeking to produce faith in Jesus, John demonstrates a remarkable objectivity. He does not gloss over the fact that many did not believe in Jesus but presents a fair representation of the human testimony concerning Jesus. Some believed in Jesus, others did not; but note carefully...Those who knew Him best, believed in Him. Those who were ignorant of the facts, were quick to deny Him but even His enemies could not deny the force of His teachings and the power of the miracles. At best they tried to attribute His power to the devil and as a last resort, they felt they had to kill Him. What about us today? What will we do with Jesus? Will we make the effort to learn more about Him? Will we be like many who were quick to draw conclusions before they really knew Him? Jesus made a powerful impression upon those who saw and heard Him. Those who knew Him best were even more impressed to the point of life transformation. They were never the same after meeting Jesus. Let, their testimonies encourage us to consider what further testimony John presents in His gospel about Jesus, the Son of God… that you may believe.…

Key Text: 2 Timothy 2:1-13 Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, the offspring of David, as preached in my gospel. v.8 Paul mentions two specific ways to remember Jesus: Remember Him as risen from the dead. And remember Him as the offspring of David. Why these two things about Jesus? Romans 5:7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— Because if He is risen from the dead He is alive and triumphant over death — including our death! “If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you” Romans 8:11 It means that no matter how serious the suffering becomes, the worst that it can do on this earth is kill us. but Jesus has taken the sting out of that enemy. He is alive. And we will be alive. “Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul” Matthew 10:28 But more than that, the resurrection of Jesus was not a random resurrection. It was the resurrection of the son of David. “Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, the offspring of David.” Why does Paul say that? Because every Jewish person hearing it would know that it meant Jesus is the Messiah ( anointed one ) John 7:42 They would know it meant that this resurrection was the resurrection of an everlasting King. Listen to the words of the angel to Mary, Jesus’ mother: And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Luke 1:31–33 So, remember Jesus, the one we serve. He is not just alive from the dead but He is alive as a King who will reign forever and of His kingdom there will be no end. No matter what happens, we do not need to be afraid.…

Jesus also appealed to His Father's testimony through scripture. The same Scriptures many looked to for eternal life John 5:39a Scriptures which themselves bore witness to Jesus John 5:39b From Luke 24:44 , we can assume that Jesus had in mind the following scriptures, The Law of Moses, The Psalms and The Prophets Note Jesus' words in John 5:45-47 In these scriptures were many prophecies concerning the Messiah. In John's gospel, he records how many of these prophecies bore witness to Jesus as the Messiah. Prophecies of Moses The Seed of Woman - Genesis 3:15 pointing to a conflict that would exist between Satan and Jesus. This conflict is referred to by Jesus in John 12:31-33 ; 14:30 Jesus' resurrection proved Him to be the fulfilment of this conflict Hebrews 2:14-15 Prophecies By The Prophets The Forerunner - Isaiah 40:3 A reference to one who would prepare people for the coming of the Lord John the Baptiser makes reference to this prophecy John 1:19-23 The work and testimony of John the Baptiser fulfilled this prophecy The Spirit Coming Upon Him Several prophecies found in Isaiah 11:2 ; 42:1 ; 61:1 In which the Spirit was to come upon the Messiah. A fulfilment to which both John the Baptiser and Jesus refer John 1:32-33 ; 3:34 Luke also records how Jesus fulfilled such prophecies Luke 4:16-21 The Rejected Teacher Prophecies related to this are Isaiah 53:1 ; 6:9,10 In which many would not receive the Messiah because of dull hearts John made reference to these passages - John 12:37-41 The Jews' rejection of Jesus and His teachings thus fulfilled Isaiah's prophecy The King’s Entrance Recorded in Zechariah 9:9 Israel's king would come to Jerusalem riding on a donkey John records Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem - John 12:12-16 Later, His disciples would understand how this fulfilled what was written of the Messiah…
