Michael Thalhimer, Director of Business Development at All Energy Solar
Manage episode 507041741 series 2168470
Matt was joined by Michael Thalhimer, Director of Business Development at All Energy Solar, to discuss the commercial side of solar energy. With policy changes recently announced and more on the horizon, many businesses are looking to lock in the best incentives before the rules shift under the new administration. Michael explained how securing solar tax credits for commercial properties differs from residential projects, with a longer runway to qualify and strict deadlines depending on when you start the process. At a high level, federal solar tax credits remain available for projects placed in service before the end of 2027, starting at 30% of the project cost and potentially rising to 50–60% with certain bonus opportunities.
All Energy Solar is also hosting a Commercial Solar Lunch & Learn to explore these topics in greater detail. The event takes place this Friday, September 19th, from 12–1:30 p.m. at their St. Paul offices (1264 Energy Lane). You’ll receive a $50 Target gift card and have the chance to unlock project discounts of up to $5,000. To RSVP, visit allenergysolar.com, call 800-620-3370, or email [email protected].
