During the summer of 2010, the vision of a local, all day music festival set in an intimate venue and designed to bring community together and raise money for local non-profits came to fruition. The name of the music festival; Bigstock. On episode #24, I have the privilege to sit down with the man behind the vision, my friend Dr. Brett Gingold. Brett and I are joined by Oregon Adaptive Sports founder, Kendall Cook as we discuss the evolution of Bigstock and the relationship that has formed over the years by these two non-profits as they work together to provide life-changing outdoor recreation experiences to individuals with disabilities. This year’s Bigstock festival is scheduled for Saturday Sept 10th at Hoodoo ski resort with Bobby Weir and Wolf Brothers as the headlining act.
